I'm really bad about this.
posted July 01, 2009 by maryI honestly don't know where the time goes. I felt like I just updated this, yet it's been almost a month since I have. Ahh! I guess time flies when you're having fun, right?
The girls are both excellent. Grayce is going to be a kindergartner, in a MONTH! It is so hard to believe, my little girl is going to be in school! I am excited for her, yet nervous as well. It's such an odd feeling. She recently had a small surgery a few weekends back. She had a benign growth on the tip of her tongue that had to be removed. Luckily it was nothing serious, we didn't even have to put her under. I'm not sure how much she remembers but when she had to have shots in her tongue before he removed the growth I cried right along with her. The scream that came out of her was heart wrenching, poor kid. Thankfully it's all done and we won't have to deal with that again.
Gretchen has grown fangs. Ha! The child decided to get her canine teeth before her front two!! She looks hilarious! Besides that we cannot control her, she's constantly on the go, her favorite spot in the downstairs is our fireplace, she squirms to it and then smacks the metal part on the bottom. It's apparently a noise that she likes and we can't seem to keep her away! She's learning early that Mommy and Daddy mean business and she's not happy when we or Grayce pull her away. It's amazing to think in just 3 short months she will be 1. It seems like yesterday that I was pregnant with her!
I think this is a sufficient update, Derrik and I are still the same. We don't change much. :)
