18 days

posted September 11, 2009 by mary

Our little girl is going to be 1 in just 18 days! It is absolutley unbelievable how quickly the time has passed. It seems like just yesterday we were still in the hospital!!

She's recently been standing on her own, becoming more adventurous and letting go of the table. I don't think she'll be walking before the first birthday, but at least she'll be closer to holding herself up without holding on. She has however recently learned that she can climb the stairs, time to find something to cover those up! Derrik found her about 4 stairs up the other day and had to quickly grab her down so that she didn't tumble on her own!

Grayce is enjoying Kindergarten more and more each day. We ask her who her friends are though and she just shrugs. She's insisting she doesn't know any of the kids names at her table!! I don't know if she's being coy or simply hasn't taken the time to learn who her tablemates are!! Hopefully she'll learn soon enough.

Bears season starts in a few days, as well the the Hawks preseason. Super stoked for both teams to start their successfull run!

Grayce Sings "7 Days of the Week"

added August 14, 2010

We recorded Grayce singing "7 Days of the Week" when she was two and a half. She had such a soft sweet voice back then.
