It's getting harder and harder to support Huet
posted October 19, 2009 by maryMany of you may not understand my title here, however if you keep up with the Blackhawks you will. The Blackhawks finally have a SPECTACULAR team but our goalie is subpar, and this is being kind. I've come to think of him as the "Rex Grossman" of the NHL. Some games he's great, other's it's like he isn't even in the right frame of mind. Blah.
Derrik and I went to a Blackhawks game on Saturday. We always have a great time whether they win or lose because the atmosphere at the United Center is second to none with a packed house. Over 20,000 fans were there and you could feel the energy when the Hawks scored. Huet ruined it for us however, with a short time left in the 3rd he let the flukiest goal through that I've ever seen through. To say the least the crowd wasn't happy and many people left shortly after. Either way, we had fun and we can't thank our friends Matt and Beth enough for watching our girls for us!
Coming up next is Grayce's 6th Birthday, invitations are in the mail and she's having her FIRST party with friends only.
